1,000 Acres Pollinator Habitat Project
We’ve launched the largest pollinator restoration project in our region to create and restore more than 1,000 acres of native habitat, benefiting the monarch butterfly and other pollinator species that are threatened, protected, or in decline due to habitat loss.
Invasive Species Removal
Our work removing these harmful plants enhances the habitat for native flora and fauna and improves water quality.
Native Plantings
Native plantings in riparian areas and floodplains improve the habitat for wildlife, help prevent erosion and keep the waterway cleaner.
Barrier Removal
Barrier removal restores a waterway’s natural flow which helps native species, eliminates algal blooms and creates safer conditions for recreation.

CISMA is a coalition of nonprofit organizations, agencies and businesses working to control and remove invasive species.
