Ohio River Foundation elects New Board President, Three New Trustees

CINCINNATI, OHIO (June 25, 2021): Ohio River Foundation (ORF) has elected Bill Hayes as its new board president. He succeeds Rob Shimp, who held the post since 2007. Hayes, who joined ORF’s board in 2019, is an environmental attorney with Frost Brown Todd in Cincinnati.

ORF also elected three new board members: Sarah Molly, digital education development manager with Dentsply Sirona; John Bloch, executive corporate chef with Newly Weds Foods; and Tom Sperber, wealth management advisor with Northwestern Mutual.

“Ohio River Foundation is doing wonderful things for the region through its restoration projects, education programs and advocacy for water quality,” Hayes said. “I am honored to help lead ORF in its next chapter of growth.”

“We’re excited to have Bill as President and welcome Sarah, John and Tom to the ORF team,” said Rich Cogen, the nonprofit’s executive director. “They all bring a wealth of experience and energy, which will be great assets as we look to grow and expand the foundation’s impact in the community and the Ohio River watershed.”
