Faillo leads Fifth Third’s comprehensive environmental, social and governance strategy, which includes the Bank’s climate strategy and sustainable finance initiatives, as well as social and governance reporting. This includes working with the lines of business to develop financial solutions and drive innovation to ensure the transition to a sustainable and inclusive economy. Faillo was recently named to the Sustainability Top 100 Leaders list for 2022 published in the October issue of Sustainability Magazine.
“I’m looking forward to working with fellow ORF board members and staff to support ORF’s mission and expand advocacy, restoration, and education programs aimed at protecting and preserving the Ohio River Watershed,” said Faillo.
Prior to working in the Corporate Responsibility Office at Fifth Third Bank, Faillo was the Director of ESG Reporting & Analytics in the investor relations department focused on developing the Bank’s annual Environmental, Social and Governance reports.
Faillo also serves as a board member of the Notre Dame Urban Education Center and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children.
