Ohio River Foundation (ORF) presented its seventh annual Cincinnati Coffee Festival at the iconic Cincinnati Music Hall this past October 26 and 27. The event raised more than $100,000 to support ORF’s impactful education, restoration, and advocacy programs to fulfill our mission to protect and improve the ecology in the Ohio River watershed, a source

of drinking water for millions of people.

More than 4,000 guests joined nearly 55 vendors including world-class roasters, coffee shops, purveyors of fine food, and professional baristas to enjoy hundreds of free tastings of the finest coffees, teas, pastries, chocolates, and savory foods. The weekend festival included live music, latte art demos, and demonstrations by industry experts.

The festival also featured the always popular Latte Art Throwdown, this time featuring Cincinnati Council Member Mark Jeffreys.

The Coffee Festival’s composting efforts collected an estimated 3,045 lbs. (768 gallons) of compostable materials and food waste, preventing greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to driving over 2,000 miles.

About Cincinnati Coffee Festival

Ohio River Foundation produces the Cincinnati Coffee Festival (CCF). Launched in 2017, the festival attracts thousands of attendees as well as coffee roasters, coffee and tea shops, bakers, pastry shops, and chocolatiers from around the region. It is our major annual fundraising event.

We developed the event to broaden our public reach about the importance of protecting water quality. As our event signature line states, Without Great Water, You Can’t Have Great Coffee.

Proceeds from the event support our impactful education, restoration, and advocacy programs to fulfill our mission to protect and improve the ecology in the Ohio River watershed, a source of drinking water for millions of people.
