Ohio River Foundation Raises More than $21,000 at Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival

Ohio River Foundation was able to raise more than $21,000 at its annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Friday, April 19 at the Woodward Theater. The Festival sold out with 150 people in attendance. Proceeds from the event will support ORF’s exciting education, restoration, and advocacy programs that fulfill its mission to protect and improve the water quality in the Ohio River Watershed, a source of drinking water to millions of people.

THE IMPACT

Your Donation Makes a Big Impact

  • $25 can provide food for the freshwater mussel “ambassadors” we use in our Mussels in the Classroom program.
  • $100 can buy water quality equipment to enable us to identify pollution problems.
  • $500 can help 50 students be River Explorers for a day of learning in a river or creek.
  • $1,000 can plant 100 native trees to restore critical habitat and help keep our water clean.
