Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! For the Ameritas Tree Planting Event at Kingswood Park, volunteers will help dig holes, plant trees, and apply deer protection in an area of the park that has been cleared of invasive species and in need of some native plants. The re-introduction of native plants will help to restore critical habitat and increase biodiversity. Volunteers should be prepared for the weather in durable, layered clothing, long pants, long sleeves, hats, sunglasses, and work gloves. Please wear sturdy closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle.
