Come help us celebrate and welcome MadTree Parks & Rec to Summit Park! While we won’t be hiking through the trails, you can still warm up at the brand new MadTree Parks & Rec taproom, where you’ll have the chance to engage with live freshwater mussels and learn about their vital role in our local watershed. This interactive experience is a fun way for families to discover how freshwater mussels contribute to the health of our waters and environment.
Finish off the day by enjoying a cold brew and food, celebrating the perfect mix of nature, education, and community!
Mussels in the Taproom – 11am-2pm – ORF will be in the taproom discussing the important work that we do and engaging with the community. Stop by our table to learn more and engage with some of our freshwater mussel ambassadors that will be there!
