Julie first joined ORF in 2007 as a River Explorer educator. After several years she became the program coordinator leading a team of 10 educators in Cincinnati. She is now a senior educator on the team. She is an alum of Cincinnati State and Community College, where she studied Environmental engineering. She lives with her family on a farm in Harrison, Indiana.
